Description of the OneDrive for Business update: May 14, 2013

INTRODUCTION

An update has been released for Microsoft OneDrive for Business. This update provides the latest fixes for the 32-bit and 64-bit editions of OneDrive for Business. Additionally, this update contains stability and performance improvements.

Issues that this update fixes

  • Two strings are not translated into 40 languages in OneDrive or OneDrive for Business.
  • You experience one of the following issues in OneDrive for Business:
    • When you right-click any folder or file on a computer that has OneDrive for Business installed, the context-menu entry of OneDrive for Business is displayed as shaded and is not clickable. This entry should not be displayed.
    • Assume that you copy multiple files into a local folder of OneDrive for Business. When you start the context-menu of OneDrive for Business, it takes about 10 seconds longer than expected for the context-menu to appear.
  • Some OneDrive for Business error messages are unclear or imprecise.
  • You experience one of the following issues in OneDrive for Business:
    • You have to manually disconnect and re-synchronize a library when OneDrive for Business stops synchronizing the library.
    • When you download or upload files by using OneDrive for Business, you receive authorization error messages.
    • OneDrive for Business continues to retry uploading the files that have failed because of QuotaExceeded.
    • When you use the taskbar icon in OneDrive for Business to stop document library sync, OneDrive for Business crashes.
    • In some cases, synchronization does not work as expected.
    • If you rename a file two times and then delete the file in OneDrive for Business, the file cannot be deleted.
  • New error messages in OneDrive for Business are translated into wave 1, wave 2, wave 3, and wave 4 languages.
  • New error messages in OneDrive for Business are translated into wave 5 languages.

How to uninstall this update
